Jennifer Segal, of Dog Training That Works, began
the school in 1995. Her unique philosophy and training practices has not
only helped numerous dog owners, but has earned her and the school great
recognition as well. Jennifer has been featured in Chatelaine Magazine,
on City TV, CP24, The New VR, CFTO TV, City Dog Magazine, CBC Radio, TV
Ontario and the PBS Network. She is also the author of numerous dog training
manuals and has written many articles on the subject.
Described as ‘Dog Trainer Extraordinaire’ she has trained
numerous dogs for Schutzhund, French Ring Sport, Agility, Flyball, Therapy
and the Media; including numerous television commercials and print advertisements.
She is also the first trainer in Canada to train a working service dog
to aid someone with Parkinson’s disease.

Melissa Vig is the owner of Metro Muttz, Pet Groomer, and instructor.
Melissa took her first dog to obedience school when she was twelve years old.
Since then, has dedicated her life to exploring new and creative ways of
training animals.
Melissa and her own dogs compete regularly in canine sports. They enjoy agilty,
flyball, disc dog, and freestyle. In May 2004, Melissa and her dog Brooklyn were selected to represent Team Canada in Valencia, Spain for
the World Agility Championships. They brought home a bronze and silver medal,
and placed third overall.
Aside from competitions, her dogs also perform at large events such as The Royal
Winter Fair, All About Pets Show, and the Toronto Sportsman show. They have
starred in many commercials, as well as doing film work for Nickelodeon, in
Universal Studios.
Melissa feels the most rewarding opportunity she has is helping others build
great relationships with their dogs.

Lynn Doel has been professionally breeding and showing registered dogs
since 1992. Lynn is also a member in good standing of the Canadian
Kennel Club, Ontario Dog Groomers Association, International
Professional Groomers, Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Association, and
runs a successful grooming school and salon.
